Ready for your dive at Malatapay? The dive site right on our door step is one of the best-kept secrets in the area.
Malatapay is a muck diving spot, which means it's all about the small stuff. Think frogfish, seahorses, nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, and all sorts of unusual macro life hiding in the sand and rubble. It's a favorite among underwater photographers and anyone who loves the weird and wonderful side of the ocean.
Enter the water from the parking lot at Beach Cafe, and when you're done, come rinse off, warm up, and refuel. Grab a drink during your surface interval or a proper meal after your last dive. You're welcome to use our parking and shower facilities as long as you have something to eat or drink at the restaurant.
Just a heads up: we're not a dive center, so we can't provide a guide or take responsibility for what happens underwater. Make sure you're certified and dive with a local guide if you're new to the area.
Location: Malatapay, Zamboanguita
Opening hours: Wed - Mon, 8am - 10pm (Closed Tuesdays)
