As our contract at the night market has ended, our hearts are filled with both gratitude and longing. It is never easy to say goodbye to the beautiful people of our hometown, a place that welcomed us not just as vendors, but as family.
This journey has been more than simply selling drinks and products. Each cup we served carried a piece of nostalgia, a story, and a memory. Every smile, every conversation, every returning face reminded us that what we were sharing went beyond taste…it was connection, warmth, and a sense of home.
To those who supported us from day one until our final night, your love has been overwhelming. To those who passed by quietly, we still thank you, you have all been part of this meaningful chapter in our journey. Every experience and criticisms has shaped us into who we are today.
We would also like to extend our deepest and most sincere gratitude to the Honorable Mayor of Jolo Edsir Tan, Honorable Vice Mayor of Jolo Dr. Khumaidy Tan, Honorable Councilor Nurjam Alfad, Municipal Administrator Ezzeddin Soud L. Tan, Honorable Councilor Edsir “Chete” Tan II for giving us the opportunity, the space, and the support to share our humble business. Your generosity created a safe and welcoming place not only for us, but for all vendors and visitors.
To the BPAT, Marines, BFP, Nurses on duty, and the Police, thank you for your unwavering service in keeping everyone safe throughout the entire night market. Because of you, this became more than just an event; it became a place where families, friends, and strangers could gather without worry.
We, your visitors from Zamboanga City, will forever carry this experience in our hearts. Being part of this Ramadan celebration has been an honor we will never forget.
And now, as we bid farewell, we leave with hearts that are full yet heavy…full of gratitude, but heavy with the thought of leaving something so special behind.
This is not just a goodbye. This is a thank you written with every memory we’ve shared, every smile we’ve seen, and every moment we will carry with us wherever we go.
Until we meet again, our hometown and our people, you will forever hold a place in our hearts.
