FAQ

Q: Are the containers reusable?

A: Our containers are not washable and so that makes it not reusable. Our containers are meant to replace the single use plastic containers used in the food & beverage industry.

We have some tips on how to prolong the life of the containers before disposing of them.

Q: Can the containers be used in the freezer? For How long?

A: Yes, these containers are freezer and fridge safe. You can store food in the freezer for long periods of time.

Q:Can the containers be used to cook with in the oven

A: Update: We recently did some baking tests with several of our containers, and found that it can be used in the oven to bake breads and other baked goods.

Our test parameters are:

Oil Based Batter Banana Bread
Temp: 250°C (give or take as oven temp fluctuates)
Duration: 45 mins
PLEASE BE AWARE - we still want to stress to exercise extreme caution when trying this especially in the beginning to avoid fire accidents and burns. Please stay safe.

Q: How long before the containers break down?

A: These containers will start to break down and decompose around 90 - 180 days AFTER the container has been thrown away. It will not decompose while in use.

Q: Will the containers break down while im storing food inside?

A: Nope, they will not break down until they are thrown away and mixed with some dirt and soil, oxygen, moisture and bacteria found with you food scraps.

Q: Are these really compostable?

A: Yes, definitely! We're not about that green washing life.
