Nasi Katok – a simple combination of white rice, sambal (a condiment made out of blended chillies and other spices) and a piece of fried chicken is Brunei's version of fast food. It's a staple for both the locals as well as expatriates. Our family, being expatriates in Brunei for years misses this dish so much since we got back to Zamboanga that we had to recreate this famous spicy dish and share it to the community. We hope you'd try this fried chicken dish with our signature (combination of Zamboanga and Sambal) since we know, Zamboanguenos naturally love our food really flavorful, hot and spicy.
