❀ Gab’s Tinapa is one with the local government in implementing proper waste management (segregation at source) at the Valencia Sunday Market.

We ask our fellow sellers to fully support the municipality’s endeavor to protect our environment and promote environmentally friendly ‘Chada Valencia’.

It is our hope that the Valencia Tourism, Public Market, and Environment Offices with the cooperation of our local businesses will soon (not later) ban SINGLE USE PLASTICS, plastic-coated paper cups, papers, and containers. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

❀ Sharing an appropriate painting for you to gaze upon: Anita Magsaysay-Ho’s “Tinapa Vendors” from the year 1955. Ganda diba?! This painting spoke to us on a different level hehe. We personally love the banana leaf-filled bayong detail and the overall yellowish brown warmth of the whole image. 😌 It sold for P84 million on March 2021. Wild diba? Anyway, we’re selling tomorrow, and we’ll wear a bandana in spirit of this Anita painting 😌 presyong abot kaya ang boneless bangus and tulakhang/anchovy 🤎 see you!! 🤎
