Recipe Testing Begins! 🍳

Today marks another exciting milestone for DaddyPig.

I officially started testing our recipes!

My goal isn't just to cook good food—it's to create meals that people will genuinely enjoy and remember.

For this recipe test, I prepared different versions of our sisig and asked for honest feedback.

The result?

🥹 The crispy version was the favorite!

That made me really happy, but this is only the beginning.

I'll keep improving every recipe until I find the perfect balance of flavor, texture, and quality that DaddyPig can proudly serve.

Why a Food Truck? 🚚❤️

Every dream starts with a reason.

For me, it all began with food.

Growing up, my mom's cooking was more than just a meal; it was comfort, love, and one of the happiest parts of my childhood. Those simple moments inspired something bigger.

As I got older, quick silog meals became part of my everyday life. That's when I started asking myself...

"What if I could create that same feeling for someone else?"

So why a food truck?

Because I don't want to wait for people to come to me.

I want DaddyPig to reach different communities, meet new people, and one day serve those who might not always have the chance to enjoy a comforting meal.

This dream is still in its early stages.

No food truck yet.
Still testing recipes.
Still learning.
Still saving.

But every small step brings me closer.

This isn't our final menu yet, and you might notice there are no prices. That's because we're still testing recipes, improving flavors, and working on the proper costing before we officially launch.

One thing I don't want to rush is quality.

I want every meal on this menu to be something I can proudly serve—cooked from the heart. ❤️

Every dream starts with a first draft... and this is ours. ❤️🐷

Yesterday, I introduced you to DaddyPig, and I was overwhelmed by the encouragement and support. Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat! ❤️

Today, I'd like to share the updated version of our logo and banner.

As I reflected on why I wanted to build DaddyPig, I realized that it has never been just about serving sisig or silog meals.

It's about recreating a feeling.

Growing up, my mom's cooking always brought comfort, happiness, and love to our table. Those memories became the inspiration behind this dream.

That's why I changed our tagline to:

❤️ Cooked from the Heart. ❤️

Because I want every meal we serve in the future to carry that same warmth and care.

This is still just the beginning. There isn't a food truck yet. There isn't even a stall.

But every step we take, every lesson we learn, and every improvement we make brings us closer to making this dream a reality.

🐷 DaddyPig: Episode 1 — Ang Simula ng Pangarap

Matagal ko nang dala ang pangarap na ito...

Isang araw, gusto kong magkaroon ng sariling food business na hindi lang tungkol sa pagkain, kundi tungkol sa pagbabahagi ng saya at comfort na nararamdaman ko tuwing kumakain ako ng lutong bahay.

Dito nagsimula ang DaddyPig.

Mula sa pagmamahal ko sa luto ng mama ko, sa mga simpleng silog meals noong high school at college, hanggang sa pangarap na makapagbigay din ng pagkain sa mga taong nangangailangan.

Hindi pa ito food truck.
Hindi pa ito malaking negosyo.

Isa pa lang itong pangarap na unti-unti kong bubuuin.

Samahan niyo ako sa journey na ito.

🐷🔥 DaddyPig – The Beginning

Hi everyone! My name is Ven, and today I want to share a dream that has been in my heart for a long time.

Growing up, my mom loved to cook. The meals she prepared were some of my happiest memories, and that’s where my love for food began. From high school to college, silog meals became a big part of my everyday life, and one day I realized that I wanted to create that same feeling for other people.

DaddyPig is not just a food truck idea. It’s a dream to serve simple, comforting meals that are cooked from the heart.

Right now, I don’t have the food truck yet. I don’t have a store, and I don’t have my first customer. But instead of waiting for everything to be perfect, I’ve decided to document the entire journey, from the concept to recipe testing to starting small, and hopefully one day serving people from my own food truck.

My ultimate goal is not only to build a successful business, but also to be able to give back and share a warm meal with people who need it most.

Thank you for being here at the very beginning. I hope you’ll join me as I take this dream one step at a time.
