Dackies Foods is a home-grown medium scale food manufacturing company whose sales spanning across at least 15 cities all over Northern Mindanao and neighbouring regions; offering fresh, crispy and caramel coated banana chips and two varieties of pork cracklings (Original Carcar Recipe), more popularly and locally known as Chicharon. Started in 2011, Dackies Foods was established with a vision to b
ecome the Number One producer of banana chips and pork cracklings in Mindanao and ultimately the “Must Have Pasalubong” when in Lanao del Norte. Supply for the raw pork skin used for the Chicharon products are sourced from meat importers based in Cebu who import their meat supply from EU countries. Raw bananas are sourced locally, from the company’s own farm. Chicharon production has already been awarded with quality assurance certification from National Meat Inspection Services. BFAD Certification for the production of banana chips is due for release anytime this 1st quarter of 2014.
