All packed,
almost everything gone too
just goats and chickens left
to wander in the morning dew

Three years ago
this place became a home
now I have somewhere else to go
as this dream has come and gone

Thank you to everyone
who supported us along the way
at times it was grueling, even torturous
but your encouragement (and our stubbornness) kept us at it
each and every day

Take care, be well
keep 'Alpas' close to heart
who knows what the next dream will be

Alpas garden is in full swing during the pandemic. We've been spending all day, every day preparing new raised garden beds; amending our soil with our own compost, carbonized rice hull, goat manure; milking our goats to make our own cheese; and caring for our growing population of chicken and ducks, all raised naturally without chemical pesticides or fertilizers. It's been refreshing transitioning out of the restaurant and into the garden, pouring all of our energy into improving it and making it more productive than its ever been.

Sometimes it's a lot nicer to interact with animals and plants than humans 😉
