Donny Pangilinan earns praise after suggesting ₱3/L diesel price cut at his Dad’s gas station

Actor Donny Pangilinan is gaining admiration online after his father, Anthony Pangilinan, revealed a generous move at their gas station aimed at helping motorists cope with rising fuel prices.

In a social media post, Anthony shared that their business recently reviewed the impact of skyrocketing fuel prices, not just on their company, but on the community they serve. According to him, it was actually Donny, who is also his business partner, who suggested a bold step.

"Our partner (yes, my son!) suggested a move that didn't make sense ‘numbers wise’ but was 100% in sync with our mission: support those who need it most in the community.”

Following Donny’s suggestion, Anthony decided to cut ₱3.00 per liter from their regular diesel prices at their gas station located in South Forbes, starting March 17.

The move quickly caught the attention of netizens, with many praising Donny for thinking about consumers during a time when fuel costs continue to rise.

They applauded the father-and-son tandem, saying their decision proves that businesses can still choose compassion over profit, especially when the community needs it most.
