Wednesday afternoon was something we never expected.

We were completely overwhelmed by the number of people who came to visit our little café. Maraming salamat po talaga sa inyong lahat. But because of the unexpected crowd, we ran out of full cream milk completely. Zero. Wala na talaga kaming magamit. We had already started cleaning up the shop because we decided to close temporarily and reopen at 6PM pag dumating na ang pinadala naming full cream milk from San France, ADS.

While sitting quietly at one of the tables, facing Bobet’s tarpaulin, I jokingly said, “Haay Bet, sikira yaon molabay nga panel. Mobili gyud ako.” A few minutes later, a Jersey panel actually arrived. 🙈😭😭😭😭🙈 I honestly cannot explain what I felt at that moment. I was shocked, emotional, and happy all at the same time. It happened so fast that I just sat there in disbelief. 😭😭

Because of that unexpected blessing, hindi na kami nag close. 🙏🏼 Some may call it coincidence, while others may call it the “Bobet effect.” Whatever it may be, in my heart, I truly believe that Bobet simply relayed our little problem to Papa Jesus and asked Him to provide for what we needed.
And just like that, He did. Thank you, Bet, for continuing to remind us that love, kindness, and prayers never really end. 🤍😭😭

We at BEANi Avenew are deeply grateful to everyone who has visited over the past few days to remember Bobet. Many have come not just for a cup of coffee, but to experience the drink he used to order and to quietly sit where he once sat, and light a candle in front of his tarpaulin. Seeing so many people honor his memory in their own way has been truly touching.

This has never been about business. It has always been about remembering a person who left a lasting impact on so many lives. Hindi man siya kasama natin ngayon, patuloy na nabubuhay ang kanyang alaala sa mga kwento, panalangin, at pagmamahal na ibinibigay ninyo. Thank you for helping keep Bobet’s memory alive. We are humbled by the love and support you continue to show him and his family. ✨🏀🤍🫶🏼

Ever since Bobet started visiting our café, people would come just to see him and spend a moment with him. It was never about the place, it was always about Bobet.

Now: They still come.
Not to see him this time, but to light a candle, offer a prayer, and spend a quiet moment before his tarpaulin. Both heartbreaking and beautiful to witness how one person could leave so much love behind. 🕊️💙
