The art vs. the artist: meet Chef Jake, the man behind our knockout faves! Before spending almost 10 years in La Chinesca’s kitchens, he spent 7 years in the ring, earning titles as a Philippine Boxing Federation Champion and a Pan-Pacific Boxing Federation Champion in Thailand in 2012. 🏆🏆🏆

He and Chef used to box together a decade ago and he started with just a side gig in our OG BF branch. He channeled that same discipline, precision, and grit from his boxing career into becoming La Chinesca’s head chef, and today he manages our commissary, trains our line cooks, and makes sure every dish that lands on your table is as punchy as ever. 🥊😆🌮
