WOWA KITCHEN x CAFÉ is a brainchild of the brother and sister tandem of Cyrus Dan and Joyce Ann Cañares. They both grew up seeing their mother cook in the family owned old school carinderia in Mandaluyong City. WOWA KITCHEN x CAFÉ is basically an extension and a more upscale version of that popular roadside eatery in Mandaluyong, the place where a young Joyce appreciated the joys of cooking and se
rving good food. So much so that she pursued a degree in culinary arts. Cyrus on the other hand pursued a career in writing and dabbled in design as evident in the interior of the restaurant. Favorite family recipes such as the Garlic Spareribs and Garlic Pork Adobo are a staple in the menu. Francisco (which past restaurants include Chelsea Serendra, Museum Café, and Unit 27 Bar & Restaurant) running the kitchen new specials such as Truffled Mushroom Carbonara, Angus Beef Tapa, Organic Brown Rice Champorado and the likes are added in the menu for a more dynamic gastronomy affair. Located in a hidden corner along Bayani Road in Fort Bonifacio, this quaint restaurant serves comfort food and dishes in a homey and comfortable setting.
