From 2018 to 2026.
There was a time when Primo’s was just an idea.
No investors.
No connections.
No guarantees.
Just a dream, a small amount of capital, and a belief that God can use ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
I came from a simple family in Masbate. I saw my parents work hard just to provide for us. Growing up, I learned that success is not about becoming rich. Success is about creating opportunities, not only for yourself, but for others.
When I started Primo’s in 2018, I wasn’t dreaming about luxury cars, expensive watches, or recognition.
I was dreaming about survival.
I was dreaming about paying salaries on time.
I was dreaming about keeping the lights on.
I was dreaming about building something that could outlive me.
Eight years later, whenever I see our team members receiving their salaries, supporting their parents, sending their children to school, paying their bills, and putting food on their tables because of the opportunities created through Primo’s, I realize that this is what success truly means.
A Rolex can tell you what time it is.
But it can never tell you how many lives you’ve helped along the way.
There were countless nights when I wanted to quit. Times when sales were down, debts were piling up, and the future seemed uncertain. But God continued to remind me why He started this journey in the first place.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3
Every branch we open is not just another restaurant.
It’s another opportunity for someone to have a job.
It’s another family that can put food on the table.
It’s another dream that becomes possible.
To every aspiring entrepreneur reading this:
Don’t stop believing.
If God placed a dream in your heart, He placed it there for a reason. The vision, the wisdom, the passion, and even the burden you carry today are not accidents. God gave them to you for a purpose.
There will be delays.
There will be failures.
There will be seasons when you question everything.
But don’t quit.
Stay faithful.
Stay humble.
Keep serving.
Keep building.
Because one day, you’ll realize that your greatest achievement was never the money you earned.
It was the lives you changed, the opportunities you created, and the families you helped because you chose to obey God’s calling.
From one small store in 2018 to where Primo’s is today.
All glory belongs to God.
