Founded in Tagaytay more than 14 years ago, we set out to create a place where flavor, warmth and affordability all come together. From Day One, our vision has always been for our guests to savor the meals they love, at prices
they feel good about. Every dish we serve, from Tagaytay specialties such as Tapang Taal, Bulalo and Crispy Tawilis to our festive Pancit Bilaos, showcases our pledge to serve sarap consistently. We believe that good Filipino food should never make people hesitate, save up, or wait for a special occasion. After all, sarap shouldn’t be a luxury, but a right; and, busog shouldn’t be restricted, but accessible. In a place where dining is often dressed up and priced out of reach, we choose the everyday over the exclusive, the honest over the hyped, and the heartwarming over the Instagrammable. Our food is cooked to satisfy, meant to be shared, and priced so everyone can say, “Yes!”—yes to extra rice, yes to bringing the whole family or barkada, and yes to coming back tomorrow. When food is made with care, cooked from the heart and offered with respect, affordability isn’t a compromise, but a commitment. And, it’s something worth being proud of. Being affordable isn’t a compromise that one has to apologize for; rather, it is virtue that needs to be celebrated. Thus we claim with both conviction and clarity, “Masarap maging affordable.”
OUR JOURNEY & MILESTONES
The Beginning (October 30, 2011): Our story began over 14 years ago when we first opened our doors in Tagaytay City under the original name, Papa Prito. We entered the scene with a simple promise: exceptional food and a welcoming ambiance that is light on the pocket. A New Era: The Rebranding (September 23, 2024): To better reflect our growth and modern identity, we officially rebranded from Papa Prito to Papprito. This change was more than just a name—it was a renewal of our commitment to innovation while staying true to the "Papa" heritage our customers have loved for over a decade. Expansion & Reach (April 6, 2023): From our flagship location at the Grandview Complex (Tagaytay Rotunda) to opening our branch in Mahogany area in Patuto Malaki South, we have expanded our presence to reach more Filipino food enthusiasts within Tagaytay City. Serving with Passion (2011–2026): In late 2025, we proudly celebrated 14 years of service. As we step into 2026, we continue to evolve by re-introducing new offerings like our Beer Bundle Promos and dedicated Karaoke Nights, ensuring that every visit to Papprito is a celebration. VISION
