A little story for today: “Saletta” is actually Chef Matteo’s father’s surname — his father has never set foot in the Philippines, but his last name is already here.

Fun fact: in Italy, Father’s Day is celebrated on March 19th (San Giuseppe day) — but now that Matteo calls the Philippines home too, his father gets a double greetings every year!
So to all the fathers, lolos, and father-figures who joined us today Happy Father’s Day! Buona Festa del Papà! 🥂
