STORY TIME: We know it was going to be risky to offer food that is new to the Surigaonon palate. Nagdaku kami sa amo Papa na grabe ka lumad na an preferred food gajud kay STK ra (sugba, tinoya, kinilaw) and all the other strange things like tinama, hamimitik, etc. And I am actually all for it. But my Mama before getting married traveled the world and has been experimenting with what to put on the table based on what she has seen and tasted from all those travels. And I was always her biggest fan whenever she would whip up something new to the annoyance of Papa who would always look for his STK. (And believe me, Papa was a good cook too. When he was alive, he made the best kinilaw. Nothing today comes even close.) She developed her recipes by remembering how they tasted like and was never really one to look up a recipe. We were the ones who started really documenting her recipes so we can share it to people. There's honestly still so many more but in time, we will get this chance to share this piece of our loving home. Thank you to everyone who decided to go on a food adventure with us. I hope we made you feel as loved as our Mama has made us feel over the years through her food. Visit us again today at STALL 147 (in front of Harborside).

Good morning everyone! Reintroducing our KOREAN PORK STIR FRY with our version of the spicy cucumber salad. This recipe is something we worked on during the pandemic to make sure we still had our sense of taste! 🤭🤭🤭 It's not too spicy, just enough kick and it pairs well with the cocumber.
