Hi everyone! This is Maan de Castro-Abesamis. Thank you for the overwhelming support since Day 1 when we opened our online restaurant, Kimchi Kitchen PH. Needless to say, everyone in our family worked very hard to give you quality Korean dining experience in the comfort of your own home.
Kimchi Kitchen PH is a 100% family owned and 100% family run online business. As proof that EVERYTHING is done by our little family, allow me to introduce each member.
Grace: She is the heart and soul of KK. She is in charge of our family meals and we were very lucky we grew up (pun intended!) to her delicious cooking. She conceptualized every dish in our menu, made the recipes, tried, tasted and revised each recipe countless of times to come up with the delicious dishes that KK is known for today.
Bob: The sous chef, โThe Wind Beneath The Wingsโ of our mom. My Dad chops, slices and dices all those small veggie pieces that you see in your Bibimbap, Pajeon and every other dish that calls for chopping vegetables. He is also responsible for double frying your chicken orders to ensure that satisfying crunch.
My parents lived in Korea for 15 years when my Dad still used to work there. Thatโs why we can guarantee our customers an authentic Korean taste because my parents have tried for themselves for a good number of years authentic Korean food.
Tinton: The food photographer, tikim-izer, delivery boy, grocery boy, errand boy, and also the mascot of KK! He prefers to be called โG. Sauceโ BTW. Watch out for his antics!
Maan: I make most of the write-ups that you see in our page, well if Iโm not busy being a doctor.
Gerald: Made the logo and conceptualized the over-all aesthetic of KK. Oftentimes, a tikim-izer himself during his rest days also as a doctor.
Zachy: The youngest member of KK! He is my and Geraldโs very rambunctious little boy. Everybodyโs ray of sunshine and stress reliever when thereโs chaos in the kitchen.
