Nais pong linawin ng Sorsogon II Electric Cooperative (SORECO II) na ang nakatakdang disconnection ngayong buwan ng Mayo ay para lamang sa mga hindi pa nababayarang electric bill hanggang Abril 2026.

Ayon sa Advisory ng Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), ang pansamantalang pagsuspinde ng disconnection ay para sa mga unpaid bills simula sa May 2026 billing period. Ibig sabihin, magsisimula lamang ang suspension ng disconnection sa susunod na buwan o sa Hunyo 2026.

Ang mga hindi mababayarang electric bill mula May 2026 hanggang Hulyo 2026 billing periods ay hindi muna sasailalim sa disconnection o pagputol ng serbisyo.

Kaugnay nito, ipatutupad din ang Flexible Payment Options kung saan ang mga Distribution Utilities (DU) ay magsasagawa ng staggered o deferred payment scheme para sa mga konsumidor na may konsumo na hindi lalampas sa 200 kWh. Kapag lumagpas sa 200 kWh ang konsumo, kailangan na itong bayaran ng buo.

Muli, nililinaw ng kooperatiba na ang isinasagawang disconnection ngayong buwan ay para lamang sa unpaid April 2026 bills.

Pinapaalalahanan din ang lahat ng MCOs na patuloy na magbayad ng kanilang electric bill sa itinakdang petsa upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na operasyon at maayos na suplay ng kuryente.

Hinihikayat din ang lahat na maniwala lamang sa mga opisyal na pahayag at anunsyo na inilalabas ng Sorsogon II Electric Cooperative at ng Energy Regulatory Commission upang maiwasan ang pagkalito at maling impormasyon.
