We are headed to the Philippine Coffee Expo :) And we are so excited to share that we will be showcasing the Negros coffee we produced at the cupping table by Escolta Coffee Company.

Come join the cupping session on June 5th Friday (12:45 PM) and then we will be one of the guest brewers on June 6th Saturday (1-3 PM) at the Escolta Coffee Company booth!

Holy crap Lara 🙌🏻🔥 Congratulations! Damn getting a Q grader certification is not for the faint hearted. I know we thought about this for a long time and here it is! The journey ahead looks very promising and this means that our coffee in Celery will be better calibrated both within and with our farmers we work with. You will make cupping fun and we can’t wait to learn from you. We can’t wait for you to share sensory trainings with us, farmers and our community.

Congrats!

we took a trip to La Castellana for Coffee Appreciation Day from Silay. And there was a Banana Festival going on too. During our presentation, we pulled manual shots from our personal coffee processing experiment using robusta cherries to share with farmers and overall the reception was positive. We interacted with farmers and spoke about some of the challenges they are facing.

See you as usual during holy week ❤️

it’s the season where our mulberry tree is thriving and this year we said, it has got to come together with coffee. This drink is balanced, deliciously tart and creamy. We kept it simple but worked tirelessly to get each component right. This is going to be a seasonal signature beverage and will be available at Celery.

🖤❤️mini vlog❤️🖤

we’re sharing this mini-vlog with our first pop-up in Chiang Mai with . So imagine Anika, hoping on a video call and saying yes to a 7-day pop-up adventure in Thailand. Its never easy doing these things. Cafe owners and artists need to fund these trips most of the time. There’s sooo much logistics that goes into this. It’s not easy but very fulfilling.

There were soo many memorable moments. Thanks for hosting us at . This is a must visit cafe in Chiang Mai. Try their Es-yen and Cha-yen. Amazinggg💯. Thats my go-to drink there! Lara and Anika also got the cutest tattoos from .poke.club ! She’s a gem! And we are so happy to call her our friend. Please DM her and you will love her studio! Thank you to everyone who came and visited us❤️. See you soon!

coffee processing equipment is super important for farmers to produce coffee at a high level that affects both quality and quantity. Farmers in the have a huge responsibility to maintain these equipment after they receive it.

We visited talisay to see how things were going and appreciated how honest some farmers were with their struggles.

😀

We feel so honored to be part of this vlog and reel too! Thank you Yong and Mike for featuring us. We like to add that this is not a sponsored post, they came by and supported us. It's super rare to find that these days.

Negros coffee is the hardest coffee to source for us. The most important thing for us is building a great relationship with the farmer. They educate us and we help with all the things we learned with our classes, farm trips and coffee experience abroad. It's an even exchange. We also work with them to make sure that everything in the beginning from Harvesting up to the Processing has standards and quality.

Thank you for everyone who came to the pop-up we had in Chiang Mai. You were so kind and inquisitive with the coffee from the PH. Thank you for your encouragement and we hope to see you all again. ขอบคุณค่ะ.
