Larga Cafe' by Pokritas has become one of my favorite coffee houses in the City of Silay. Amidst the travel restrictions brought by the pandemic and mobility was a bit challenged, this Cafe' checked all the boxes. Since I am also from Silay, residing not too far from the southern part of the city, my craving for a simple, crisp, fresh and clean brewed coffee has been satisfied. Located at Calle Ledesma, Silay City; the place ports you to a Spanish colonial era inspired by a sprawl of ancestral houses around validating the city as the Paris of Negros through the concept of preserving a couple of antiques and made it relevant and appreciated today. The list of food from the menu doesn't scream unfamiliarity but offers relatability and affordability with a sense of flavor that easily tells you the trademark. As mentioned, simple yet presented in a way that you got your money's worth. The Cafe' embraced the vibe of an old soul with a touch of sentimental values and pieces of artworks. In addition, the staff are friendly, customer oriented, well trained and young spreading the vibe that Larga Cafe' by Pokritas is a millennial haven and to whatever generation you belong, it won't disappoint. I felt that i belonged...otherwise I won't be coming back again...and again...and again...
