Not Everything Goes According to Plan
Running a restaurant means knowing that, no matter how carefully you prepare, there will be days when something doesn’t go the way you hoped.
An order may take longer than expected.
A detail may be missed.
A busy service may put pressure on the entire team.
And sometimes, despite our best intentions, a guest leaves disappointed.
We recently had moments like these at Soriano’s.
And while it is never easy to read feedback that isn’t positive, we believe there is something important behind every piece of feedback:
an opportunity to listen.
We don’t want to be the kind of restaurant that only celebrates the good reviews.
We also want to have the humility to look at the moments where we could have done better.
Because hospitality isn’t about being perfect every single day.
It’s about caring enough to acknowledge when something went wrong, learning from it, and coming back better the next day.
So to everyone who has taken the time to share their experience with us — thank you.
Your words remind us that every plate, every table, and every interaction matters.
We’re still learning.
We’re still improving.
And we’re still here, trying to make every visit better than the last.
