Correction: The old photo of UMMA building, Crossing Aldea.

Before this was UMMA, this was the NGA (National Grains Authority) in the early 1970s. Then it became Arrocera de Jaro. Then UMMA. Now, it is Aldecro.

Why was this place called 'Crossing Aldea'? Aldea is a Spanish term for village. But there is no record of a village here.

There is an old story that in the past, the family Aldea once owned a wide tract of land here. The place was said to be named after the Aldea family.
