A little story about how I met our beautiful vow renewal bride. 🤍
She first dropped by our store just two weeks after our opening. Funny enough, our shop was actually closed that day! 😅 But I happened to be there, so I welcomed her in, entertained her, and served her some of our cake slices.
Fast forward a few months later… she booked her vow renewal cake with us, and requested a cake with fresh strawberries! 🍓
It was the kind of cake I usually see trending online, and I was so happy to finally have the opportunity to make one. As a traditional wedding cake designer, this was a refreshing and exciting project for me.
btw, she was truly an A-list client! 😍
The whole transaction was smooth. She was so easy to talk to, knew exactly what she wanted, was prepared with her budget, and trusted us with the cake without a long list of revisions or questions. Her only specific request was a chocolate-flavored base, and from there, she gave us the creative freedom. the result? One of those cakes that makes you step back and smile after finishing it. 🍓✨

This cake also feels extra special because it marks another milestone for South Cakery. From our very first days of opening, to now creating cakes for weddings, vow renewals, and other milestone celebrations, we’re slowly seeing our dream grow right in front of us.
