Thank you so much po! 🥰🤎💚
📍 Dolocab – San Pedro, Laguna
Ambience:
Clean, cozy, and homey.
Our notes:
We’ve actually been here twice, so we were able to notice some differences between visits. May konting inconsistencies sa chicken inasal taste but understandable since they’re still new. And honestly, we noticed the improvements from our first visit.
🙋♂️ Dan: For the Bacolod chicken inasal, the flavor was really good. You can taste the marinade well and the smokiness from the grill comes through nicely. The vinegar tasted more forward during our first visit, but on the second visit the flavors was more balanced. (That chicken oil and rice combo, bam! 🔥)
💁♀️ Ruth: First visit, medyo matagal yung service. Our order took around 45 minutes. But during our second visit, we pre ordered through their page and the waiting improved a lot.
The owner was also very kind and personally apologized for the long wait during our first visit. He even mentioned that we can order in advance next time, which we really appreciated.
Taste-wise, I really enjoyed the Bacolod chicken inasal. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and you can really taste the marinade. Personally though, I like my cansi with a stronger sour kick, so for me the soup tasted a bit mild or mahina yung asim. But overall the food felt comforting and satisfying.
Special mention to the tinae o isaw kahit hindi siya appetizing pakinggan, it was actually really good.
+++ the staff were warm and easy to interact with.
