Since Leonyll was a kid, his family was involved in the food business. Thatβs where he got interested in cooking and eventually developed his skills by helping in the kitchen. Nyll then later pursued a degree in culinary arts, thanks to his familyβs encouragement.
His career started off as a chef and baker for a catering company before transferring to a 5-Star Luxury Hotel in Manila. As his skills grew, he got an opportunity to work for a cruise liner as a baker back in October 2019. He got the chance to travel across Europe and Asia while having a good job.
Unfortunately, the trips were cut short because of the pandemic, and he went back home last June 2020. After finishing his mandatory quarantine, it was back on the grind. He started cooking again for Chef Nyllβs Sisig, his personal favorite that he wants to share with his customers.
Even though his path took a slight turn, he never wavered. His family is the main reason why he keeps on striving. He has many ideas for the future, though it is hard, he will continue to push on as long as we continue to support his great food.
