The Spanish word for yellow, "Amarillo," also refers to a hard, sturdy tree that, when given special care, develops a matt finish and is incredibly attractive.

The tree and the term "Amarillo" both denote stability. Across a wide range of cultures and social classes, cups are used to quench thirst. The cup is used to represent joy, nourishment, and life. Notably, the coffee inside the cup is pictured with a curved surface that depicts movement; this represents the dynamic and adaptable nature of Café Amarillo. The San Pablo Lakes, one of the city's major

tourist attractions, are also represented by the image of coffee inside the cup. The curving, earthy brown and yellow gold shapes that portray steam rising from a hot coffee cup expresses unity between nature and progress. Additionally, the upward motion of these forms symbolizes Café Amarillo's positive growth while the color brown is a representation of the land and nature. Due to its relaxed atmosphere and commitment to sustainability, Café Amarillo prides itself on bringing its patrons closer to nature. The golden yellow color symbolizes growth and progress, not just for the owners of Café Amarillo but also the employees.
