The WSL World Junior Championships is just days away, need a refresher on what makes this event so iconic? We got you 👇

Running from January 13th - 19th at Urbiztondo Beach, San Juan, Philippines, the World Junior Championships is one of the most prestigious single events on the WSL Calendar. The field consists of 24 men and 24 women, aged 20-years and under who qualified through their respective regional junior series’. These regions being: Australia / Oceania, Asia, Africa, Europe, Hawaii / Tahiti Nui, North America, and South America.

Seen as one of the most significant events to win in the career of a young Pro Junior, victory at the WSL World Junior Championship Philippines will see a competitor join the likes of Joel Parkinson (AUS), Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS), Andy Irons (HAW), Gabriel Medina (BRA), as well as recent WSL Championship Tour qualifier and Olympian Vahine Fierro (FRA).

In addition to taking home the famed World Junior Championship Trophy, the event winners also gain a valuable spot on the 2025 Challenger Series.
