People ask me why I chose Brgy. Tumana, Palestina as the home of Café Lily. My answer is simple: I saw something here that others may not see yet.

I believe places have an age, just like people. Manila did not become Manila overnight. It had hundreds of years to grow, develop, and find its value. Palestina, on the other hand, is still young. It is still becoming what it is meant to be.

Maybe today, some people only see a small barangay. But I see what it could become years from now. I see opportunities, growth, and a community with so much potential.

Maybe I’m delusional. Maybe my vision is bigger than what other people can see right now. But I believe in it, and sometimes that is where every great idea begins.

I may have arrived early, but being early simply means believing before everyone else does. When Palestina’s time finally comes, I’ll be proud to say that Café Lily believed in this place from the very beginning.
