Is this something that will be a concern for the Philippines?? I'd hope not and pray things start turning around soon...

Not a post I’d ever thought I had to make, guys.
Unfortunately, moving forward, brisket will no longer be apart of our menu.

We apologize tremendously, we’ve done all we can to combat the constant price hikes, but we can no longer sustain our current business model with brisket eating up over 70% of our total grocery costs.

With the price hikes, also comes lack of sales, we’re on pace for a record low year, while the costs of groceries has continued to rise.

Again we apologize to anybody this may affect, we love brisket more than anybody so this hurts us just as much as it does you guys.

New menu will be shared later this week, please be on the lookout and more importantly, please support your local restaurants 🙏🏻

📌 How Ordering Works at Mensie's

Everything here is made fresh, to order — nothing is pre-cooked and sitting around, so please read this before messaging your order.

There are two ways we cook:

🔸 La Union Weekends (our home base)
We're normally grilling Friday–Sunday (prep work is done during the week) in San Fernando, La Union. Watch this Page and our IG for the "in La Union this weekend" post — that's your cue to order.
• Message your order by 6PM the day before you want to pick up.
• Once we confirm your total, send full payment via GCash or bank transfer and share your receipt screenshot.
• Your pickup time is only locked in once payment is confirmed.

🔸 Manila Pre-Orders (cooked fresh in La Union, brought up on our next trip)
This is a pre-order, not a same-week order — please plan a little ahead.
• Message us your order to get a total and timeline.
• A 50% deposit locks in your order and helps us plan the trip.
• The remaining 50% is due in cash, GCash, or bank transfer when you pick up — or beforehand, if that fits your pickup method better.

🚚 Pickup & Delivery — please note
All orders, including here in San Fernando, are scheduled and booked by the customer: come by yourself, or arrange your own Grab, Lalamove, or similar courier. Unfortunately, we don't have in-house delivery riders.

💳 Payment
GCash and bank transfer (BPI) — see our "How to Pay" photos for the QR codes and details. Please send a screenshot of your receipt as proof of payment.

↩️ Changes & Cancellations
• Free to cancel or reschedule anytime before we start cooking your order.
• Once cooking has started, payments are non-refundable — ingredients are already bought and portioned. For a genuine emergency, we may offer store credit at our discretion (not guaranteed, and doesn't apply to changed minds or no-shows).

Six hours in the smoke. Then glazed.

Jerk Rib Tips — pork burnt ends done the Mensie's way. Low and slow until the bark locks in, then finished with our in-house Mango Sauce. Sweet. Smoky. Heat that creeps up on you.

Vacuum sealed and ready for delivery, so every bite hits the same as it did coming off the smoker.
This one's for the people who know what patience tastes like.

Mensie's isn't fully open yet — but the menu is being built, one cook at a time.
