Why is my page called โPastry Mommaโ? ๐ง๐ค
My baking journey started when I gave birth to my first child. At first, baking was simply a hobbyโsomething I enjoyed doing while being a breastfeeding mom. It wasnโt always easy to find time for myself while taking care of a baby, but baking became my little escape, my happy place, and something I truly enjoyed.
What started as a simple hobby slowly turned into something more. I began selling my baked goods to a few friends and family members. Then, one or two people took a chance on me and trusted me with their orders. Little by little, more people started supporting my work, and eventually, I found myself creating cakes and pastries for more and more customers.
Thatโs when I decided to create a page. I kept asking myself, โWhat should I name it?โ And then I thought of Pastry Momma.
The name is very special to me because my baking journey began when my children came into my life. They inspired me in ways they may never fully understand. Being a stay-at-home mom is not always easy. It can be tiring, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming. But through baking, I found something that makes me happy and allows me to express my creativity while being present for my children.
Pastry Momma is more than just a page or a small business. It is a part of my journey as a mother, a baker, and a woman who decided to turn a simple hobby into something meaningful. ๐ค
