PUBLIC REVIEW, PUBLIC RESPONSE.
May isang recent review tungkol sa PWD discount verification namin, at dahil public itong concern, we feel it’s only fair to address it publicly as well.
Let’s be clear: Hindi namin pinagkakaitan ng discount ang PWD. In fact, the discount was given before the registration was verified. “na discount na po namin kayo pero heads up lang po hindi po nakaregister yung ID niyo sa site”
Pero bakit kailangan pa naming magtanong?
Because *FAKE PWD IDs and fraudulent claims are a real problem. At para sa isang small business, every fraudulent discount is an actual loss.
Verification is part of our protocol, and we have to protect the business while making sure legitimate PWDs still get the benefits they’re entitled to.
And to businesses and sa kinauukulan : **sana simulan na rin nating seryosong aksyunan ang fake PWD IDs.** Because when people abuse the system, legitimate PWDs and small businesses are the ones who suffer.
At sa customers naman: if a staff member asks a question politely and follows protocol, **please don’t immediately punish the entire business with a 1-star rating just because the process didn’t go exactly the way you expected.** If someone was genuinely rude or disrespectful, call it out. But if they were simply doing their job properly, maybe give them the benefit of the doubt.
Hindi naman kami perpekto. Open kami sa feedback. Pero sana, open din tayo sa understanding.
Small businesses are already fighting to survive every day.
Let’s not make following the rules another reason for them to lose.
What do you think? Should establishments be stricter in verifying PWD IDs to help prevent abuse?
