After days of slowing down, of quiet moments and gentle pauses, we’re finally opening our doors again.

We hope your Holy Week gave you the space to rest, reset, and just be. Because sometimes, that’s exactly what we need before we begin again.

Today, we’re back brewing your favorites and welcoming you in with warmth, comfort, and a fresh start in every cup.

You know, there’s something special about starting again… and what better way to do it than with a good cup of coffee, right?

In the midst of this busy season, we’re choosing to pause.

This Holy Week, we’re taking a short break to rest, reflect, and make space for what truly matters.

Just like every good cup of coffee that takes time to brew, our hearts need that same stillness, too.

Acodes Café will be closed from April 2 to 4 in observance of this sacred time. We’ll be back on Easter Sunday, April 5—refreshed, renewed, and ready to serve you again.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

A gentle reminder: rest is not something we earn, it’s something we’re given.

As we pause, we also lift our prayers for peace in the whole world, especially for those in the Middle East. May this be a time of reflection, safety, and renewed hope for everyone.

May this be your time to slow down, breathe deeply, and find peace beyond the usual rush.

These past few weeks reminded us why we started in the first place 🥹

From sharing stories over cups of tableya to learning the craft behind every brew, we had the chance to host two meaningful gatherings: Taste of Aklan by Kapleya, and Build & Brew with inspiring minds from different industries. Each conversation, each question, each insight exchanged inside the café felt like something bigger than just an event, it felt like a growing community.

We would like to thank Ms. Lorraine Yap for hosting Taste of Aklan, and our generous panelists for Build & Brew 2—Ar. Richmond Aquino, Chef Alvin Ong, Ms. Kata Francisco, Mr. Vincent Dela Cruz, and our guest brewer, Mr. Pao Canopin, for sharing not just their expertise, but their real-life experiences, lessons, and the heart behind what they do. I guess all it takes is a village to build a café.

To everyone who joined us, whether you’re dreaming of starting your own café, exploring the world of coffee and cacao, or simply curious, thank you for joining us and becoming part of these experiences. The energy, the conversations, and the openness to learn made these events a success.

And maybe that’s what makes it special—it’s not just about coffee or tableya, but the people, the stories, and the ideas being brewed together.
