After one year and a half where we tried and tried, to encourage everyone to come and eat Thai food at Bistro, it would appear we did not succeed. After discussions we decided to close the doors at Bistro, but let me tell you this is not a 'Good-bye'.

I would like to take this opportunity in welcoming you all to my new home... SILK ROAD, located in Fort Bonifacio. Last December it was hailed as one of the Top 10 Restaurants of 2013.

With enormous and heartwarming supp-8ort coming from friends, colleagues and families... We, hand-in-hand have dropped-ship food, clothing and other important necessities that are needed by our fellow countrymen affected by the Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) at Malapascua Island, North of Cebu.

For the people of Cebu whom helped us pack and distribute the relief goods, a big thank you to all of you.

To all friends from overseas whom contributed, your aid made someone smile and became hopeful as they have received that little gift from us. I'm so happy to say that they are really grateful too.

Nowadays, Thai people usually prepare natural materials to make Krathong.
For example, they use banana trunk and lotus to make beautiful krathong then put stick candle, incense stick, and flowers in krathong.
They always ask for good luck in the future and forgiveness Pra Mae Khongkha.
At the temples and tourist places, they held the contest of making krathong and Noppamas beauty pageants contest.
There are many entertainment shows and exciting fireworks at night.

Our dear friends,
It is indeed that Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda made so much devastation in Visayas and Mindanao. Malapascua Island, which is an isolated island in North of Cebu was also destroyed.. With this, Thai Bistro is opening its doors for donations such as: blanket, medicines, pillows, canned goods, noodles, bed sheets, clothes and others in kind which you can share.
There will be a box in Thai Bistro where you can place your donations and we will deliver it to Malapascua Island, personally.

We are knocking in your hearts so as to help our fellow countrymen in need. God bless you all!
