It is with a sad smile but with a grateful heart that MARIA'S will be frying its last empanada on March 28, 2018 and will cease its operations by close of business on that day.

More than being a business, MARIA'S has been like my baby, nurturing and watching it grow to maturity. The decision had not been easy to make but after 10 years, the time has come for a change, to explore, to look for another challenge and embark on a new adventure.

Thank you for being with me on this incredible journey! I've met some amazing people and had experienced some of the best, happy and challenging times this whole decade at MARIA'S. It has been a real pleasure sharing my heritage and truly heartwarming to see you enjoy some of Ilocos' gastronomic delights. Your loyal support will not be forgotten.

Who knows? Our paths may cross yet again, so it's not really goodbye, but till next time. 😉
