Let ask you, how many of you have been scammed? I have, just 2 weeks ago. I saw this yamaha vino 50 cc motorcycle on Lazada. I ordered the product and this person contacted me, the seller. He said, send P5000 as down payment using gcash. He sent me lots of beautiful photos. I sent the money then he said, before he sends the motor send P10,000 and that it. Give him my address for delivery. I sent the money of both the down payment and this P10,000. He emailed me with the description of the product. After 1 day, he said I had to send another p10,000 thru gcash again for me to get my motor. I said, "I thought the P5k and p10k was it?" He said that I needed to send another p10K if I want the motor to be delivered or else I would lose my p15K, so I sent it using gcash. I never got my motorcycle. I was scammed. There are several lessons here but why doesn't gcash protect the consumer? Once I send my money using gcahs, gchas gets their commission and the seller gets there gchas but the consumer (buyer) loses out. Gchas should use the process like Paypal. I send my money using paypal and if my product never gets to me or if the product is broken or anything wrong with is, Paypal refunds me my money. Payapl gets back my money from the seller. Now, why doesn't Gcash do this? Specially, with the growing number of the senior population and the internet which is giving access to all these communist countires, Gcahs should have something like this in place like Paypal. BTW, this scammer says, "I can only send money using Gcash". If you have been scammed, please share your story here and share my story as many people as possible to stop scammers and have financial vendors have safety things in place like Paypal. I commend Paypal and s**t on Gcash. Gcahs just wants their commission and doesn't give a damm about their customers.. Pass it on if you agree.
