Colombia Oporapa Huila, La Quebradita

Hey kids! its been a while we’ve just received a Thermal Shock lot, and it’s easily one of the most playful yet clean coffees we’ve had.

In this method coffee cherries undergo some form of anaerobic fermentation, after which they are exposed to hot water of around 50 °C. Once the fermentation reaches its target point, the cherries are rapidly cooled in an ice bath. This precise process enhances clarity and complexity, yielding a cup that is both vibrant and expressive.

Myanmar Aromatic Co-op Estate

This is our first time roasting coffee from Myanmar, and we wanted it to shine both as espresso and filter. So we gave it a longer development time to bring out its sweetness and depth in the cup while still maintaining a medium roast.

The anaerobic washed process, made the cup clean with enhanced fruity notes.

We’re super excited about this one! We’ve been wanting to roast an Ombligón varietal for ages. We roasted this coffee to let the origin’s natural character shine, giving it just enough development to bring out all the good stuff.

Produced by Wilton Benitez, a coffee producer with 26 years of experience, on his farm in Piendamó, Cauca, Colombia—renowned for exceptional coffee.

Rwanda, with roughy around 400,000 small-farm holders, benefits from high altitudes and volcanic soils, with farmers working with cooperatives and shared washing stations.

The Inzovu, in particular, is a collaboration involving 35,000 farmers and over 40 washing stations. This particular coffee is hulled, graded, and meticulously hand-sorted at the Rwanda Trading Company.

They have been instrumental in helping farmers improve bean quality and thus increasing the farmers earnings.

ABOUT THE COFFEE:
It gives a smooth body, balanced acidity, with caramel sweetness. OMNI-Roasted to suit both espresso and filter brewing, it’s an excellent choice for everyday coffee enjoyment.
