Milk should (usually) accentuates the taste of coffee and provides a better mouthfeel. It's a pair to make the coffee more delicious and satisfying.

Here's a quick guide in making your own 𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗼 (12oz) at home:

1. Brew your coffee. We like to use Brazil Minasul or Sul de Minas for this recipe.
2. Let the coffee cool. Grab your glass and place in your sweetener of choice. You may use vanilla or homemade simple syrup. Adjust sweetness to your liking.
3. Drizzle some caramel or salted-caramel sauce on the walls of the glass.
4. Add some ice, making sure to leave room for the milk and coffee.
5. Pour in fresh milk over the ice. You may use low-fat or non-dairy milk.
6. Add in your brewed coffee and enjoy!

The dark earthy tones of the Java coffee compliments the vibrant fruity notes of the Mocha coffee. Together they make for an incredibly tasty cup of coffee.

In reality, “true” Mocha Java blends are rare and fairly expensive. Modern versions offer a combination of readily available coffee beans from Sumatra and Ethiopia.
