Haim celebrated its 24th year of Sarap-Saya na Binabalik-balikan in 2023. When it was started back in January 1999, it welcomed customers with its small nipa nuts and its signature chicken dish cooked on a 2 x 4 square meter traditional barbecue grill. s inspired from a Visayan recipe, which eventually evolved into a family-original recipe more popularly known as the “ha-im” sauce—a perfect balance and fusion of sweet and savory flavors that will definitely keep you coming back for more. This is exactly what makes Haim Chicken quite special. Just like the province where it hails from—Palawan, known for the kambak-kambak syndrome (“come-back, come-back”)—Haim Chicken has a similar effect on its customers.
