Bulacan MSA Tigers had a tough loss against World Balance Squad, 76-74 in the Junior MPBL Pocket League.

Yuri played heavy minutes today, 22mins.
Tallied 6 pts, 5 rebs, 1 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk and 3 TO. Defended well, stayed in front lf his man all the time, dove for loose balls and gave the guards a hard time bringing down the ball.

Needs to work on his shooting percentage,1/5 from 2 pt range, 1/1 from 3pt range, tallying a total of 2/6, 33%

And more work should be done in the charity stripe, having shot 1/4 from the line, 25%.

+/- 6 and EF 4 is on the positive side also.

Playing with the big boys

Yuri in his first play up, he played 1 age division up.

Hustled for rebounds, smallest boy that grabbed rebounds with heart! He shot 0/1 from deep, 0/1 from mid range, 0/1 on drive and 0/1 from a follow with the time expiring. Bawi nalang next game!

What i’m happy about are the things he made that cannot be seen on the stat sheet.

Height disparity was like a whole team of Davids and and a squad of Goliaths.

Yuri’s team played well and kept the oppising team at bay, even led for quite some time. Sayang talo, pero madami naman natutunan ang mga bata.
