Our Story
From the appetizers to main courses, everything on Locavore’s menu uses fresh ingredients from around the Philippines. We proudly champion local cuisine with classic Filipino dishes that have unique twists. Our goal is to enhance cultural favorites and give them new life. This is how we embody our name. It all started with the goal of providing a street dining experience that uses homegrown dishes. Our co-owner and chef, Mikel Zaguirre added his own flair to everyone’s favorite Filipino comfort food using his French cooking background. Taste fusion cuisine like our specials, Sizzling Sinigang which takes the familiar Filipino classic and adds gravy to supplement the sour flavor and Oyster Sisig, fresh oysters that are fried until crusted, paired with a creamy chicken liver sauce.
