“Bakit ang hilig mo mag rides? Pwede ka namang magpahinga sa bahay.”

Napangiti na lang ako.

Kasi paano mo ipapaliwanag na may mga pagod na hindi nadadaan sa tulog?

Na may mga laban na hindi nakikita sa katawan, pero araw araw mong dinadala sa isip.

Kaya umaalis ako.
Hindi para tumakas.
Kundi para makahinga.

Sa bawat kilometro, may iniiwan akong bigat.
Sa bawat kurbada, may unti unting bumibitaw na mga katanungan.

At sa bawat pag abot sa bundok, parang may nagsasabing, “Okay lang yan. Hindi mo kailangang ayusin ang lahat ngayon.”

Siguro kaya ko mahal ang mga daan.
Hindi dahil gusto kong makarating agad.
Kundi dahil habang bumibiyahe, unti unti kong naaalala kung sino ako bago ako napagod.

Kaya kung tatanungin mo ulit ako kung bakit ako mahilig mag rides…

Sasabihin ko lang,
Hindi lahat ng nawawala ay naliligaw.
Minsan, bumibiyahe lang para mahanap ulit ang sarili.

Current conditions at KM 83, Sta. Maria, Laguna:

• 💨 Strong winds
• 🌫️ Thick fog with almost zero visibility

To everyone traveling through Marilaque this morning, please slow down, turn on your headlights/ fog lights, and ride/drive with extra caution. If visibility becomes too poor, it’s best to pull over somewhere safe and wait for conditions to improve.

As of now, Marilaque Highway (KM 83), Sta. Maria, Laguna is experiencing continuous rainfall brought by Bagyong Inday/Habagat.

If you’re planning to travel through the area, please exercise extra caution as roads may be slippery and visibility can be reduced during heavy downpours. Consider delaying non-essential travel if weather conditions worsen.
