Our Dearly Beloved Customers,
It’s been a while since we last reached out to you. Time flew by really fast without us realizing that we haven’t communicated with each other. It felt like just yesterday when we started to dream of having our paresan cart. It started out as a curiousity a few years prior to pandemic as we watched people ganged up a cart with extremely huge cauldrons. One filled with this brown colored soup and the other with fried rice. Around them are different condiments like soy sauce, fish sauce, calamansi juice, chili sauce, fried garlic, leeks. At first, we are very hesistant to have a look because of the huge crowd. As we see a lot of these type of food businesses serving different people from various walks of life, the curiosity grew even further. One time, we tried it out with a few colleagues during our lunch break. The taste turns out to be good and fulfilling considering that we only paid 50 pesos for 1 order of pares with rice. From then onwards, eating pares has been part of our routine. We have tried different varieties from different areas within Metro Manila and nearby provinces like Batangas, Cavite, and Bulacan.
Fast forward to 2021, we felt the need for us to look for another source of income. This is when we decided to build our own paresan. As we always inform you, beloved customers, the unique taste of our pares was a culmination of different varieties that we have tasted back then. We added a bit of a twist, coupled it with an excellent customer service, and the most important aspect is for it to be affordable. That is when Esquinita Pares was born. We have shared lots of laughter and stories in under our small umbrella and later on in our tent. Make it rain or shine, you have supported us and we are truly grateful. After more than a year of serving you at A. Mabini St., cor Blumentritt St., Kapasigan Pasig City, we transferred our operations to our current store in 7 Blumentritt St Kapasigan Pasig City. Here we have expanded our portfolio as we are not only serving our own recipe for pares, we also indulge you with our silog meals, papaitan, and our own brand of homemade siomai (Big Bite Siomai). We even included desserts like ice cream, ice cream cake, and different refreshment products. We have catered to your special needs like birthdays, a special hang-out place for you to review, do your projects and other school works, meetings, and many more. Those times were very special to us as we were able to provide you with not an ordinary pares experience.
One really cannot tell how you are going to be tested. There are various challenges that we have faced along the way. As we strived and exerted all our efforts to provide you with the best pares experience, there is a time that we need to call it a day. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation and thanks to you, our loyal and beloved customers, for supporting us through thick and thin. For all the years that we have been together, those special moments will forever be in our heart and never be forgotten.
In this regard, we are really heartbroken to announce that we decided to close our store at 7 Blumentritt St Kapasigan Pasig City.
But wait, there is more! Since you have already reached reading until this part, please stay a bit more. We are announcing that our roving Esquinita Pares e-truck will continue its operations. We will still be serving you with your favorite “NOT YOUR ORDINARY KANTO PARES”. Aside from that, our Big Bite Siomai will also be available. You will still be indulge with our delicious, fulfilling, and most of all, affordable pares. The store will be located beside our old address. Its only a few steps away and in front of Aling Yolly’s store (tindahan ng ulam sa tanghali) in Kapasigan Pasig. And like what we used to do, we will roam around Pasig.
We hope to see you all soon. ❤️
