A few cups left, and countless moments poured with you.
Ending 2025 with thanks.

We're officially closing this chapter, knowing that we have tried for years to remain authentic and stick to our vision. From the moment we started to bag awards and beautiful partnerships along the way, we failed to make it to every ISLA, but we made sure to have brought impact across the islands.

From being the 1st and Only Capsule and Espresso Bar serving the most islands' coffee varieties and origins to serving the best of the islands' delicacies in the most unique and original menu concoctions we have, showcasing the islands' delicacies - suman, ibos, tupig, ube halaya, champorado, etc. all using premium and organic ingredients.

Crafting the 1st whey-infused coffee drink that made it to the PBA, to crafting unique concotions for Philippine Airlines for Manila - Seattle Route Launch, partnering with Department of Tourism to supply province-specific origins, to crafting 1st Hoji and Matcha Latte for restaurant use - Ramen Naijiro; to crafting Asian fusions of Filipino x ASEAN country drinks; To crafting our specialty coffee liquor drink; to crafting our timeless tablea drink; to crafting elderly-exclusive beverage line for seniors with Abbott; to taking our customers to revisit memories of "tindahan" our concept of 50 pesos drink in plastic, and many more.

To memories we will never forget: couples who tied the knot with us, couples who grew closer because of ISLA, students who passed their boards and celebrated with us, to customers who gave Php 1,000 as tip when we made them feel "HOME" in our brand, customers who took time to give every single drink a post and write-up; and even ISLA bagging the best awards we'll forever cherish. Most especially, a tribute to my classmate Emery, owner of Ruben's Ube Halaya, a family recipe and the best choice for our Ube Halaya series, which also led to further brand partnerships for them.

For potential investors we've turned down, and to failed partnerships, every encounter allows us to stick fimly on our vision even if it means losing a bit and growing further.

We thank you for your endless support and love for the brand from Day 1 to the end. Even though we kept ourselves low-key and maintained our originality, refusing to sacrifice profit, we championed Philippine Coffee in our own ways.

To DTI, Philippine Franchising Association, SM Supermalls, Philippine Airlines, AirAsia, Elkapitan Enterprise Inc., Philippine Coffee Guild, Arcana Coffee, G3, +++

For everyone who believed in us- farmers, indigenous communities, roasters, corporate partners, brands, supporters, notable individuals, customers, every Filipino who has made this possible.

Happy Holidays, and may you continue to brew the best in all your future endeavors!

Mabuhay!

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Backstrap loom weaving is a traditional textile art using a portable loom where one end is attached to the weaver's waist and the other to a fixed structure for the tension needed for weaving. Backstrap weaving is one of the oldest forms of weaving. The earliest evidence of it being traced back to the Bronze-Iron Age. It’s the traditional weaving process of the Cordillera region.

Weavers who have been weaving with Narda’s for more than 30 years will demonstrate and teach how to weave on a backstrap loom. They are the Roses: Rose Gonsoden (in picture) and Rosa Caipas. Backstrap looms will be provided, ready for weaving. The Roses will demonstrate how to set up a backstrap loom, identify the parts, and explain the backstrap weaving principles before proceeding to actual weaving. Participants will take home their backstrap looms.
