My husband John is a mami lover and would readily choose it over any other food on the table. I guess he developed this taste for noodles in his young life because his Mom, my mother-in-law Nanay Walda used to own a restaurant that served mami, where John fondly remembers himself bringing his school friends along after which Nanay would obligingly feed them.

Mami Zuki was born out of this wonderful gastronomic memory.

It is our hope that whoever tastes the food that we serve will experience the same satisfaction and enjoyment that John feels when eating mami.
