What started as a dream became a reality. Over the past few weeks, I had the privilege of traveling around the Philippines, visiting barangays, and hosting a HUGE event in my late passed Lolo Joey Villamaria’s town San Dionisio. Meeting young athletes who reminded me why I love this game so much.
Through The Assist Project, we were able to give away basketballs, jerseys, shoes, and gear to kids who love the sport but didn’t have the resources to play fully equipped. The smiles, the laughter, the energy on these kids’ faces… that’s something I’ll carry with me forever.
