Finding authentic food from the Indian subcontinent directly in Misamis Occidental can be quite tricky! Because traditional Indian and Pakistani flavors are not as common.

‎Come and visit our newly opened TASTE OF INDIA at Purok-1 Nailon, along the highway Tudela.

‎Could anyone please elaborate on the activities and practices of how individuals and families residing in the Philippines and elsewhere can prepare for a disaster no one knows has infiltrated their kitchens?

‎Many foreigners are already settling in the rural provinces of the Philippines so they can eat home cooked food made from home grown food. The cows in Mindanao still graze on grass unlike Angus and Wagyu beef that are raised strictly on feedlots and fed exclusively on grains (never grazing on grass) are primarily sourced from the United States, Australia, or Argentina.

‎While foreigners cherish the beef from lean cows that graze on grass, the rich indulge in Imported beef as they consider imported beef to be more "tastier" because of strict grain-finishing practices and genetics that produce higher marbling (intramuscular fat) without realizing that native beef can offer a more robust, earthy, and concentrated flavor.

‎The vast majority of the families in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao city etc., are sustaining themselves with Ultra Processed food. Does the rich and the poor know the health risks they are gambling upon?

‎Nation's are just run and managed by corporations that seek profits, like Kingdoms and empires before them, they will fail too. The question to be asked is if humanity, like nature, will continue?

‎Let us not forget! Bubbles grow up, Bubbles drop down too ...

‎I had been posting several posts regarding different problems and every other day for the past two weeks, as we begin our day with just enough money to see the day through.

‎It is not that I want to complain or have a grudge as none came forward to help since one kind person helped me in the purchase of the refill of our LPG gas two weeks ago.

‎As you will know, we are starting our food cart business as yesterday we started selling our Shawarma and Chicken Biryani from our food stand outside of our residence. This way we will be able to augment our sales as we cannot sell at the boulevard in Ozamis city during breakfast and lunchtime and most of the days the weather pattern in the province of Misamis Occidental are late afternoon showers.

‎We are all excited in this new venture as yesterday we got our first walk-in customer who ordered a set of Beef Shawarma. By the time we had our second customer we ran out of LPG gas and had to borrow money for the refill from our landlord. The two of us have an electric bill to pay today and he cautioned me that he will need the money today for the payment of the electric bill.

‎Since we had only one LPG cylinder to work on, we decided to go to the boulevard and hope for some sales so we can pay for the electric bill as well as the money we owed from the landlord.

‎We had enough sales to cover up for the electric bill and the money that I borrowed from the landlord but I do not have the money to cook a new batch for our Chicken Biryani.

‎Having worked in the food industry for so many years in the past, the biggest hurdle for a new food cart business will be the "quality perception gap." New customers will always judge cleanliness and taste at a glance and that is why if you will see, we are making every possible way to make our food stand presentable. You will therefore see minor changes in the appearance of our food stand - depending on the success of our business.

‎So please help me with this one last time as it will be heartbreaking to see our new business fail for the lack of Pesos One Thousand (less than 20 US$)

We are open to serving customers from our residence along the Clarin-Oroquieta National Highway located at barangay Nailon just adjacent to the big Tanduay Billboard.

‎I am grabbing just a few minutes to write this. With God’s help, hopefully you will have a couple of quick minutes to respond.

‎When bad weather and financial consequences strike, your support saved lives and has given every member of my family dignity and respect, and ensured us that we are not alone in our most painful moments. We would never have got this far without your support and the blessings of God.

‎We are currently building a food stand to augment our income as we can work from right outside our residence which is right along the Ozamis-Oroqueta National Highway which is the primary coastal corridor connecting the town of Tudela to neighboring municipalities and cities in the province of Misamis Occidental and leads to the province of Zamboanga del Norte to the north and to Lanao del Norte and the province of Misamis Oriental to the south.

‎The skeleton of the food stand is almost complete and we lack cladding panels for the walls (as we live along open rice fields and it is always very windy since there are virtually no high rise buildings from the coastline heading up to Mount Malindang). We also need some galvanized iron sheets and common nails to complete the project and it drizzled again for a bit at the boulevard in the boulevard in Ozamis city where we work as one of the food vendors and our sales was barely enough to pay for the overhead expenses and gasoline.

‎I know that due to our lack of finances, we were never able to entertain the idea of a food stand along the national highway and now that we are on it, the weather keeps on playing tricks with our livelihood. I do not wish to complain against the weather as I am fully aware that it is God-sent and complaining about the weather will only mean to be cursing God indirectly. I cried a little and worry a lot and I'm not going to pretend.. I can't even describe the deep feeling in my heart and soul when a long-held dream manifests in this lowest of all worlds. Have you ever felt that, too? If you have, tell me about it!

‎Everything on social media makes it seem like if I am not instantly successful then I am a failure. But I know that when you are working in partnership with God, you are on Divine timing. And sometimes, that just cannot be rushed.

‎This is a moment I am fighting for with my teeth. I don't want to give it up. The privilege of ensuring that if you are important to God then every soul matters. I believe in bringing dignity in the darkest moments.

‎We are all witnessing the worst of what humanity is capable of and I still believe in the best and lead a life with gratitude, (not despite what I have seen and experienced( but because of it).

‎If you value being present with the welfare of family and would want to make consequential conversations happen, I hope you will join our struggle.
