Today, as the heavy rains continue, I am reminded of how small our own inconveniences can be compared to what many families are going through.

Here at The Mahogany Healing Farm Resort, we are blessed to be settled in a higher place. The rain has left us with a messy ground, fallen leaves, broken twigs, and branches scattered around the resort. Sometimes, when I feel exhausted looking at the mess and wondering how much work there is to do, I stop and remember those who are facing something far greater: flooded homes, damaged properties, lost belongings, and uncertain days ahead.

And suddenly, our little mess feels like a blessing.

🙏 Lord, we lift up every family affected by the heavy rains and flooding.
Protect those who are vulnerable. Keep families safe, especially the children, the elderly, and those who have nowhere else to go. Provide food, shelter, strength, and the help they need. Give courage to those who are cleaning, rebuilding, and starting again.

May the waters recede, may hope rise, and may generous hearts come together to help those in need.

Lord, cover our nation with Your protection, comfort, and peace. Let every storm remind us not only of Your power, but also of our responsibility to care for one another.
