Two weeks ago, on December 20, we received an exciting opportunity: the advertising agency of one of the largest telcos in the Philippines reached out to us to be part of the OFW Christmas Salubong event at NAIA Terminals 1 and 3.
The order was monumentalโ1,000 traditional Filipino holiday treats, split equally between 500 p**obumbong and 500 bibingka. We were ecstatic to accept the challenge, overwhelmed with gratitude for this incredible blessing. Despite the excitement, we knew the task ahead would test our skills, patience, and teamwork. We knew this would push us to our limits as individuals, as a team, and as a business.
With limited time to prepare, we organized our production plan and braced ourselves for the hurdles. Challenges emerged quickly: manpower shortages, machine downtime, and sourcing materials all added pressure. The sheer volume of the order demanded every ounce of our focus and determination. Time was tight, and the pressure was immense, but we were heartened by the professionalism and understanding of our client. Their patience and support made the process more manageable.
Despite the obstacles, our team pushed through and successfully delivered 94% of the order on time. We collaborated closely with the client to address the remaining 6%, finding solutions to meet their expectations.
This experience taught us invaluable lessons and underscored the strength of our teamโs commitment. We are grateful for the trust our client placed in us and are determined to continue improving, both as a team and as a business.
Hereโs to more milestones and growth in the coming year!
