MATCHA FACT: In contrary to popular belief, matcha packs more caffeine than coffee per gram. The caffeine it provides stays in the body longer because of the L-theanine amino acid which slows down caffeine absorption.

What does this mean? Matcha HAS caffeine and it provides longer caffeinated effect without the abrupt coffee jitters brought by coffee.
