Pastil Ni Joan PASTIL or PATER, is a Filipino packed rice dish made with steamed rice wrapped in banana leaves with dry shredded chicken.

It originates from the Maguindanao people and is a popular, cheap breakfast meal in Mindanao, especially among Muslim Filipinos.
